Google apps for work is a suite of cloud computing productivity and collaboration software tools and software offered on a subscription basis by Google.
It includes Google's popular web applications including Gmail, Google drive, Google

hangouts, Google Calender, and Google Docs. While these products are available to consumers free of charge, Google Apps for work adds business specific features such as custom email addresses at your domain, atleast 30 Gb of storage for documents and email, and 24/7 phone and email support. As a cloud computing solution, it takes a different approach from off the shelf office productivity software by hosting customer information in Google's network of data centers, rather than on traditional in house servers that are located within companies.

Telegram App

Telegram is a cloud based instant messaging services that focusses on privacy and multi platform availability. Telegram cilents exist for both mobile and desktop systems. Users can send messages and exchange photos, videos, stickers and files of any type upto 1.5 GB in size. Telegram also provides optional end to end encrypted messaging with self destruct timers.
Telegram is supported by Russian born entrepreneur Pavel Durov, who is now living in exile. Its cilent side code is open source software , whereas its server side code is closed sourced and proprietary. The service also provides APIs to independent developers.

A mobile game is a video game played on a feature phone, smartphone ], smartwaqtches, PDA, tablet computer, portable media player orcalculator.

The first game on mobile phone was Trtris game on the Hagenuk MT-2000 device from 1994.
Three years later NOkia launched the very successful Snake game , starting in Dec 1997. Snake and its varients, that was preinstalled in all mobile devices manufactured by nokia, has since become one of he most played video games and is found on more than 350 million devices worldwide. A varient of the Snake game for the Nokia 6110, using the infrared port, was also the first two player game for mobile phones. Now, mobile games are usually downloaded at app stores as well as via the mobile operator's network, but in some cases are also embedded in the handheld devices by the OEM or by the mobile operator when purchased, via infrared connection, Bluetooth, memory card or side loaded onto the handser with a cable.
The first downloadable content was introduced already in 2000. Many new WAP enabled phones allowed new games disturbed by mobile operators remained a marginal form of gaming until the apple app store was launched in 2008. App Store, that was the first store operated directly by the mobiile platform holder, significantly changed the consumer behaviour and quickly broadened the markets for mobile games , as almost every smartphone owner started to download mobile content.

Shopping Apps

The Amazon Appstore for Android is an app store for the anadroid operating system operated by Amazon. com. It was opened on March 22, 2011 and was made available in nearly 200 countries.
Developers are paid 70% of the list price of the app or in app purchase.
On Sep 28, 2011, Amazon launched the Kindle Fire table. The table, designed for media consumption in the Amazon ecosystem, relies solely on the amazon Appstore for its markrtplace, eschewing Google Play. Alongside the table was a new design for the Amazon Appstore design to better integreate with the tablet's user interface.
On June 18, 2014, Blackberry announced an official relationship with Amazon, which includes access to the Amazon Appstore in BlackBerry 10.3.
The Amazon Appstore includes the "Free App of the Day" feature.
Everyday, an application, frequently a game , is offered for free. On the lunch day, this game was Angry Birds Rio, in itself a promonitonal game. On the European launch day the free app was Angry Bird. The Free App of the developer none of the list price during the featured day.

The store's "Test Drive" feature allowed users to try an application in their web browser by launching a virtual copy of Android in the Amazon EC2 cloud for half an hour. The Test Drive service was decommissioned in 2015, Amazon saying that the service had been declined, partly due to many apps not supporting the feature, and increasing prevalence of the "free to play" business model making it obsolete.

 In May 2013, Amazon introduced Amazon Coins as a form of payment on the store.

Google Maps App

Google Maps is a mapping app developed by Google for the Android and ios operating system; it uses Google Maps for its information. It was first released for Android on Sep 23, 2008, and later for ios on Dec 13, 2012 as an alternative to Apple Maps, which was released with ios 6.
On Nov 28, 2007, Google Maps for Mobile 2.0 was released.Its location services can work with or without a GPS reciever. The "my location" feature uses the GPS/Assisted GPS location of the mobile device, if available, supplemented by determining the nearest wireless networks and cell sites. The software looks up the location of the cell site using a database of known wireless networks and sites. By triangulating the differnt signal strengths from different cell transmitter and then using their location property, My location determines the user's current location. Wireless network location method is calculated by discovering the nearby WIFi hotspots and using their location property to further discover the user's location. The order in which these take precedence is :

GPS based services
WLAN, WiFi based services
Cell transmitter based services
The software plots the streers in blue that are available with a yellow icon and green circle around the estimated range of the cell site based on transmitter's rated power. The estimate is refined using the strength of the cell phone sognal to estimate how close to the cell site the mobile device.
Google Maps for ios has many of the features that are in their Android mao applications, including turn by turn navigation , stret view, and public transit information. The application's user interface has been complete,y redesigned. The original version did not support the ipad, but Google planned to add ipad support. ipad support was added wit hversion 2.0.

We Chat Mobile App

Wechat is a mobiletext and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent in China, first released in Jan 2011. It is one of the largest standalone messaging apps by monthly active users. The app is available on Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Symbian phones. A Web based, OS X and Windows cilents also exist, these however required the user to have the app installed on a supported mobile phone for authentication, in which case neither message roaming nor Moments are provided. As of Augest 2015, Wechat has over a billion created accounts, 600 million active users; with 70 million outside of China.

Wechat provides text messaging, hold to talk voice messaging, broadcast messaging, video conferencing, video games, sharing of photographs and videos, and location sharing . It can exchange contacts with people nearby via Bluetooth, as well as providing various features for contacting people at random if dewsired, next to integration with social networking services such as those run by Facebook and Tencent QQ.

Instagram App

Instagram is an online mobile photo sharing video charing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety fof social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler and Flicker. Originally, a distinctive feature was that it confined photos to square shape, similar to Kodak instamatic and polaroid images, in constrast to the 4:3 aspect ratio typically used by mobile device cameras.In August 2015 , version 7.5 was released , allowing users to post photos captured in any aspect ratio. Users can also apply digital filters to their images. The maximum duration for Instagram videos is 15 seconds.

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, and launched in Oct 2010 as a free mobile app. The service rapidly gained popularity, with over 100 million active users as of April 2012 and over 300 million as of Dec 2014. Instagram is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Windows PlayStore. Supprot for the app is available for iPhone, Ipad , Ipod touch, and Android Headsets, while third party Instagram apps are available for BlackBerry 10 and Nokia Symbian Devices.

The services was acquired by Facebook in April 2012 for approximately 1 billion US$ in cash and stock. In 2013, Instagram grew by 23%, while Facebook, as the parent company, only grew by 3%.

Mobile Apps

A Mobile app is a computer program designed to run on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets computers. Most such devices are sold with several apps bundled as per installed software, such as web browser, email cilent, calendar, mapping program, and an app for buying music or other media or more apps. Some pre installed apps can be removed by an ordinary uninstall process, thus leaving more stage space for desired ones. Where the software does not allow this, some devices can be rebooted to eliminate the undesired apps.

Mobile Native apps stand in contrast to software applications that run on desktop computers, and to web applications which run in mobile web browser rather than directly on the mobile devices.

Apps thet are preinstalled are usually available through disturbed platforms called app stores. They began appearing in 2008 and are typically operated by the owner of the mobile operating system, such as the Apple App Store, Google play, windows phone store, and BlackBerry App World. Some apps are free, while others must be bought. Usually , they are downloaded from the platform to a target device, but cometimes they can be downloaded to laptops or desktop computers. For apps with a price, generally a percentage, 20-30%, goes to the distribution provider, and the rest goes to the producer of the app. The same app can therefore cost a diffetent price depending on the mobile platform.

Android Applications

Android applications:

Google Play makes free of charge applications available worldwide, while paid applications are available in 135 countries. Applications can be installed from the device using the Google Play Store app or through the Google PLay website on a PC. According to AppBrain Stats, there are over 1,400,000 applications available as of Nov 2014 of which 1,200,000 are free and over 200,000are paid. Goolgle seems to remove low quality apps from the store roughly once a quarter, when the number of available apps go down.

As of Nov 2014, developers in 61 countries were able to distribute paid applications on Google Play. To distribute apps, developers have to pay $25 as registration fee for Google Play developer console account. Google states that this fee is charged to encourage higher quality products on Google Play. Application developers can control which countries as app distributed in, as well as the pricingfor the app and in app purchases in each country. Developers recieve 70 percent of the application price, while the remaining 30 percent goes to the distribution partner and operating fees.Revenue earned from Googlr Play is Paid to developers via Google Wallet merchant accounts, or via Google AdSense accounts in some countries.Google Play allows developers to release early versions of app to a select group of users, as alpha and beta testing versions. This allows the developers to fix any issue before the app is released widely. Google Play also allows developers to release updates in stages, first to subset of users and then progressively to larger portions of the userbase, ensuring that the smallest number of users are affected by any issues missed in testing.

Some carriers, such as sprint, offer direct carrier billing for application purchases. Pushases of unwanted applications can be refunded within 15 mins of the time downloaded.
Applications meeting certain design criteria set by Google can be made compatuible for Andrpid Wear and Android TV devices, and for the Google Fit platform.
On March 17 2009, about 2,300 applications were available in Android Market, According to mobile chief technical officer cole Brodman. On 10 May 2011, During the Google I/O, Google announced that Android Market had 200,000 applications listed and 4.5 billion applications installed.In Oct 2012, Google announced thet Google Play had 700,000 apps available to download, matching the number of apps in Apple App Store. On July 24,2013, Google announced that the play store now had 1 million applications listed and it had over 50 billion downloads.

Google Play Update

An update was applied to the Google Play Store in April of 2013 which had been the change over from the old , rather cumbersome, Google Play Store, which had been known to be sort of mismatched in the way the information, applications, books etc.. were presented. The main change which came with the update of the Google Play Store in 2013 was aesthetics, Changing the background of the Play Store to a lighter background, with many of hte features that had previously been available mainly not recieiving any sort of changes. Another visual change which had been presented in the update in 2013 had been when user is searching for an application, the added the three vertical dots to the application. Main reason for adding the three dots is an option page which allowed the users to download the application without actually having to visit the page for the application. which would save time for the users. And the final noteworthy change to the Google Play Store was that they had taken the extremely clutterd pages and added a new card presentation of the applications, presenting the user with 4-6 applications at a time rather than 20 applications at a time.

Google Play Android App

Google Play, originally the Google Play Store or Android Market, is a digital distribution platform operated by Google. It serves as the official app store for Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android SDK and published through Google. Google Play also serves as a digital media store, offering music, magazines, books, movies, and television programs. It previously offered Google hardware devices for purchase until the introduction of a seperate online hardware retailer, Google Store, on March 11 2015.

Applications are available through Google Play either free of charge or at a cost. They can be downloaded directly to an Android or Google TV device through the Play Store mobile app, or by developing the application to a device fro the Google Play website. Many applications can be targeted to specific users based on a particular hardware attribute of their device, such as a motion sensor.

Google Play wad launched on March 6 2012 with the merger of Android Market, Google Musix, and Google eBookstore, marketing a shift in Google's digital distribution strategy. The services operating under the Google Play banner are: Google Play Music, Google Play Books, Google Play News stand, Google Play Movies & TV, and Google Play Games. Android System

Android is a mobile operating system(OS) currently developed by  Google , based on LKinux kernel and designed primiarily fortouch screen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Android's user interface is mainly based on direct manipulation, using touch gestures that loosly corresponding to real world actions, such as swiping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on screen onjects, along with a virtual keyboard for text input. In addition to touch screen devices, Google has futhur developed Android TV for television , Android Auto for cars , and Androidwear for wrist watches, each with specialized user inteface. Varients of Android are also used onnote nook, game consoles, digital cameras, and other electronics. As of 2015, Android has the large installed base of all operating systems.

Initally developed by Android, Inc., which Google bought in 2005, Android was unveiled in 2007, along with founding of the open Handset Alliance a consortium of hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices. As of july 2013, Google Play Store has had over 1 million Android applications for Android, and 2015 survey found that 71% of developers creat applications for Android as their priority target platform, which is comparable to Apple ios on 37% with both platforms for above others. At Google I/O 2014, the company revealed that there were over 1 billion active monthly Android users, up from 538 million in Jun 2013.
